12.15.07 - band update!
hello everyone! just wanted to give you a quick update on whats been going on lately.

as you are all well aware of, the holidays are coming and some of us have to leave town to spend time with family. as that deadline approaches, we're quickly trying to put the finishing touches on 2 brand new songs (putting the post-pleasure new song list to almost 20 songs? I'm losing count), and we'll hit the studio as soon as we regroup after the break.
we're also working on two new and exciting projects that we'll reveal soon. I think we've got a little bit of something for everyone!
the seaweed tribute (being done by the great people over at engineer records) is shaping up nicely. we're proud to be part of a great tribute with a bunch of great bands!
9.23.07 - kane hodder to appear on nhl 2k8!

Kane Hodder's song "Aboard the Leper Colony" will be appearing on the soundtrack for NHL 2K8, published by 2K Sports and Take-Two Interactive. Also on the soundtrack will be Early Man, Comeback Kid, Only Crime, The Apostates, Bloc Party, and more!

"Aboard the Leper Colony" also appeared as the theme song for MTV's "Homewreckers".

Kane Hodder has posted a new song titled "The Use of a Tourniquet is Not Advised" on their Myspace and PureVolume pages. The song is also on a sampler cd "fly comet fly", which contains all new Kane Hodder material.

it's been 7 months since the last blog post and quiet a bit has been happening behind the scenes. we're happy to announce that we're almost done writing the next record. since we took a break from touring in support of "the pleasure to remain so heartless" in the winter of 2006, we've seen two members come and go, we've toured japan, parted ways with our record label, started a podcast, have had way too many sleepless nights, and have managed to write 14 BRAND NEW SONGS, a few disney covers (as you may have seen on youtube), and a botch cover (who only a handful have been lucky enough to see live).
in a few weeks we'll be entering the studio again with t. dallas reed (engineer and producer on "a frank exploration...", "pleasure to remain.." as well as "fantastic wounds" by schoolyard heroes) to demo the last handful of new songs. from that point we'll be finding a new home for ourselves as well as our next record, and hopefully getting some tours in before we record the next record.

in the meantime, we're happy to announce that we'll be appearing on Hours and Hours: A Tribute to Seaweed, on Engineer Records. Seaweed has been a favorite band of ours for a very long time, and we're honored to be paying tribute with so many other great bands. the bands on the cd are:

Hey everyone, we're a couple weeks away from entering into the studio to do our (hopeful) final round of demos before we start looking for a home for the new record! Wish us luck! Keep checking back for updates on more shows and maybe... tour?

Hey folks! We just got added to the Capitol Hill Block Party in late July! It should be good times! We also added a bunch of other shows, so check that out. We'll be adding a lot of shows in the near future...nationally... if you catch my drift!

We're in the home stretch with writing new songs. We have a nice huge helping of new and fresh songs! Soon we'll be hitting the studio to cut some demos, and figure out when/where/how our new record is coming out.
Also, we have some exciting shows coming up, and possibly some tour action! Stay tuned!

4.03.07 - Seattle and Bremerton shows added!
We've got some more local shows to tide us over while we work on writing new songs! We're playing at the Columbia City Theater in south Seattle on the 22nd, and in our hometown of Bremerton on the 27th. We'll be playing some new tunes, so check it out! For more details, visit our Myspace page!

3.17.07 - Added shows and new album update!
Hey everyone, check out some of the new shows we have coming up. We're playing with our dear friends Sirens Sister at the Harambee in Renton, and a few days later we're playing with our friends The Loved Ones at the new Vera Project. If you haven't seen the new Vera, definitey go check it out! As for new stuff, we're hard at work on writing some great new songs. Last month we went into the studio and recorded a set of demos, and now we're working on refining those songs and writing some new ones. Hopefully we'll go into the studio soon to do another set of demos! Keep your fingers crossed!

hello from the road. we've only been gone a few days and we only have a few days left. its been far too short. before everyone starts to say "when are you going to be playing in my town?".. let me just say that yes, we know. we've been slacking! we love and appreciate every single one of you who's said hi to us at a show, or who's logged onto myspace and left us a nice comment or message.

we're playing our first warm up show with the new guys tomorrow, june 3rd, at the georgetown music fest. we'll be playing at 3:45 on the rainier stage.

05.30.06 - we're almost ready to have you again..
we've been working our little fingers to the bone, trying to get things ready for japan. we've decided to do some warm up shows with the new blood. we'll be playing at 3:45pm at the georgetown music fest on june 3rd. on june 8th we've been invited to play some songs at KAOS 89.3FM, and the NEXT day (june 9th, for anyone keeping check) we're going to party with the kids down at the manium warehouse in olympia. after that we're going to take a couple more weeks off to write and rehearse, and then on june 28th we'll be back with a vengeance at hells kitchen in tacoma. june 30th will see us bringing it back to bremerton, before taking some days off in july to FLY TO JAPAN. we've also just learned that we'll be playing the EMP Skychurch at Bumbershoot on September 4th. keep checking back for more updates! -eric

05.11.06 - RUMORS RUMORS RUMORS
Hey everybody,
Just wanted to comment on a bunch of rumors that have been going around lately. First off, Nick and Jeremy have in fact left the band. As you can imagine, that sent our world into a spin.They're off pursuing other interests and we wish them the best of luck. We apologize to anybody who came out and expected to see us this last weekend in Boise, Seattle, and Portland. We also apologize to the bands at those shows and to everybody involved. The timing couldn't have been worse. After a few days of trying to figure out what we wanted to do, we've decided to move ahead and keep the band going. We love doing it way too much to let it die. We've lined up some friends of ours to take their place in the mean time, and we're going to continue writing and preparing our next record. Keep checking back for more updates, thanks! -Eric
